Coconut Oil – a remarkable Health and Beauty Oil
Organic coconut oil is fast becoming known for its great health benefits. For generations it has been used effectively to feed, fuel and cure a large percentage of world population, especially in the countries of Asia and the Pacific. Coco itself has many health benefits due to their fiber content, vitamins and nutritional content, coconut water drink is a healthy diet full while the flesh is full of nutrients and vitamins. However, virgin coconut oil which is pressed coconut meat is what a truly remarkable food and medicine.
For years, coconut oil used to be considered as oil, high in saturated fat and therefore not good for our diet. However, recent studies have shown that this wonderful oil that is a different type of saturated fat that reacts differently in our bodies. Everything has to do with the type of fat molecule that is present in the oil. Coconut oil is predominantly medium chain fatty acids, while most of the saturated and unsaturated fats found in our daily diet consists of long chain fatty acids.
