The national membership dues are sent by our council to Girl Scouts of the USA.

(NO PART OF THE $10 IS RETAINED BY THE COUNCIL.)

It is used by GSUSA to help provide the following:

* Blanket Accident insurance for all insured members.

* Registration forms and membership cards.

* Equipment Catalogs

* Blue Book, Safety-Wise, Uniforms and Insignia Book, Recognitions Book.

* Development of brochures, guides and manuals.

* Leader Magazine, received by every registered adult Girl Scout.

* Development of films and video cassettes.

* Operates National Equipment Service (items from tents to uniforms)

* Public Relations to leading to a better understanding of the purpose of Girl Scouting.

* Conferences for Senior Girl Scouts and adults.

* Professional training for your council personnel both volunteer and paid staff.

* Purchase and upkeep of National Girl Scout Sites (eg Juliette Low Birthplace).

* Continuing research to develop means of making Girl Scouting a vital Organization!
